about

I was watching an episode of Cosmos: A Personal Journey, and this lyric came out. It's about what molecules do when you give them four billion years.

Guitars are tuned to G#D#G#C#FA#D#. Weird, huh! Totally inspired by bands like The Contortionist and Last Chance To Reason. Lots of weird times like 15/8 and 13/8, 7/4, 5/8 over 4/4 polymeters.

lyrics

Recombine
Your ancient RNA evolving
Sings the song
Of the stars
We are made
Of the ancient
anomalies
Of our blood
It's only human nature after all...
Reprogram...
DNA...

Structure of the helix
It's the code of life
Choose to reprogram yourself
In the cold sunlight

Decompose
As you lay in the ground
And the cosmos sings
To the Earth
You are made
Of stars and planets
A symphony
In our blood
It's only human nature after all...
Reprogram...
DNA...

Structure of the helix
It's the code of life
Choose to reprogram yourself
In the cold sunlight

Structures of life reaching
Combine with the double-helix

Reprogram yourself
